Sue Cross and Associates Architectural Design was formed in 1996 when Sue was joined by Miles as a CAD operator.
Sue obtained her NZCD (New Zealand Certificate in Draughting) studying part time while working in a large architectural practice she then worked for a design & build company another architect and a structural engineer before starting her own business in 1980.
Sue is a professional member of ADNZ (Architectural Designers of New Zealand) and spent some time on the committee of the Auckland branch in the mid 1980's.
Sue has a wealth of experience and knowledge at all levels of architectural design to create house designs to suit individual requirements.
Miles began computer draughting in 1996 and comes from a background of boat building & design, timber precut/prenail and building.
Although we do mainly residential work (both new and alterations) we have worked on club buildings,light commercial/industrial and motel type complexes.
Most of our work is in the Auckland area but we have had projects in the central North Island ,Coromandel Peninsula and Bay of Islands some being 'repeat' jobs for previous clients.
Being a small team we give personal service, adopt an inclusive and flexible approach to design and communicate efficiently with client, associated consultants and council staff to ensure the best outcome for your project.
